Nirvana...agreed. HLJ, I'm sure it would have been close had they not been sealed. Gravdigr, the Alabama is a beautifully preserved battleship. They are awesome to check out if you can. One pic I took that i thought was interesting was a placard of what to do in case of an "atomic attack".

Nice pics dmg. I've been on the USS Alabama, and the big ones are impressive. My only specific memory: Stenciled on the protective gunner's shields were the words "LEAD, DAMMIT, LEAD".

You are right...those are some very interesting architectural features and colors. Did you take note of the building behind the clock tower building? It almost reminds me of something you'd see in the middle east.

The tree, because floods redirected it's growth several times but it kept on keeping on.
