the original Wickerman uncut

Based on Dana's recommendation in celebrity deaths, I watched The Wickerman. It was a great movie, I thought.

In some ways I am sorry I knew the whole story line, as the suspense or mystery was missing for me, but still, I thought it stood up well w/o relying on the "twist."

Unlike, say, "The Crying Game" where seven minutes into it I was like "Is that guy gay? Doesn't he realize that's a dude in a dress?" Then I had to sit through the rest of the movie wondering when "the big surprise" that everyone had gone on and on about was going to come in.

About as much of a surprise as baking your own birthday cake.

Anyway. Two nuts up for the uncut 1973 Wickerman.
