It's but a flesh wound...
ok, things have gotten a little tense in some of the threads, so here is one we shouldn't argue over too much, but still will stop and make you think. i was just reading an article about the guy that cut his own arm off with a swiss army knife to get out from under a boulder. i don't know if i would be able to do it.
so here is the question: if you were forced to have 1 body part cut off what would it be and why? fingers and toes don't count unless you give them all up.

Is a mole a body part? If not, I'll go with an ear.

ooh, jinx slipped in under the wire. i was just going to add that sensory organs have to go in pairs. (eyes, ears, nostrils)
i think i would give up my left foot. the tendons and ligaments are all shot to hell anyhow. i figure i can use crutches and i'd get a closer parking spot.

That's really difficult to decide. I guess you're not talking about internal parts, either, because I could stand to lose a kidney. And that liver... it'll grow back, won't it? I hope?
I'll vote for the toes. But, then, you can always swap 'em out. |

"Manland"? You've got an amusement park in your pants?!?
As per "body parts", I'm assuming that you're not counting hair, even though it's classified as a body part. Or fingernails/toenails either. As per body parts, I'd go with "toes" as my final answer, Regis. I could learn to walk without them. I just hope that the toes go to Mrs. Miggins Pie Shop, and be put next to the suspicious-looking sausage.........

Well as long as we can be picky about it, I could give up my lower left leg, cut off no higher than mid-shin. Or would that be two body parts since there's a foot attached to that leg? Or three if you count the toes as one?
I figure, if someone can climb an impossibly high mountain with a fully prosthetic leg, then I can learn to manage with a prosthetic leg end and foot. As long as I get to keep my arms and hands with their pointy ends, I'm fine

If I was fat I'd say my second stomach/chin/arse.
As I am not I'd say my appendix, because it was designed for eating grass and we don't use it anymore.

I could lose the ovaries. I don't want any more kids, and I'm tired of taking birth control.

Yeah, I gotta go with the foot. Preferably left; I had an ingrown nail taken care of once, and it's never grown back right.
