December 15, 2006: Reindeer race

dang! I saw this somewhere! Actually, I thought I'd seen it on IOTD a few days ago, but apparently not. I must have seen it in meatspace, in a local newspaper, but I can't seem to find it. Anyway, the story is that the reindeer just happened to get in the way of the truck, which is carrying snow grading equipment. (Being a Canuck I can tell you they'd probably just use that equipment on roads, not ski hills.)

I doubt if any equipment big enough to clear roads, would fit in that dump truck and be light enough to load/unload. Maybe parking lots.

Pretty healthy looking reindeer compared with real working stock, like Manny, Moe and Jack.
