You sat Thomas against the Cowboys? Are you daft man? Did you see what Gates did to them last week? Never sit Thomas again. He's top 5 at the end of the year or i don't know diddly.

.... barring injury of course.

... and I reserve the right to not know diddly even if he is 1st among TE.

Rough game.
I hope he gets better. He was one of my better players, and my team needs all the help it can get.

Wow. Romo outscored Manning. 99.3 to a paltry 97.6

I'm amazed at how close our games are each week, considering how our scoring is turned up to 11.

Dang, this week all my guys go quiet, and now I need double digits out of my TE tomorrow to beat Troop!

My TE has gone double digits the last 4 weeks, so this can happen, but dang it's gonna be close.

Clod, I just realized that your tight end is on injured reserve. That probably means he is out for the year. You need to get a new one. You could keep Owen Daniels in your reserve spot. I don't know if he's coming back.

Close game. Two of my guys got hurt early in the games.

Unless Luck goes over 87pts goats are falling this week so Bullies will grab #2. Brown dropped one in the end zone yesterday, not that I'm pointing fingers.

This game is as complicated and time consuming as you are willing to make it. I thought I was being all smart when I dropped one poor player and replaced him with someone who had really been on the rise, points wise. And it wasn't until after the trade was processed that I realized that the reason the new guy had been on the rise was that his teammate was injured, and so he was getting play time. Teammate just got better, and so my new guy is back to the bench, and worthless to me. You have to read EVERYTHING.

I liken setting up your team each week to practicing in real sports. If your team is lazy at 'practice' then you shouldn't win (leaving injured players in, players with byes that week, etc.)

Which is, of course, different than 'practicing' but overlooking a key element in your practices, as glatt pointed out you can miss so much, and things turn on a dime. This is where 'skill' (i.e. paying attention) can help but you can't foresee everything. To me, this is what makes it challenging and fun.

As a 'coach' I wouldn't advise another coach to watch their roster AFTER my team has played them. Seems sneaky. However, seems fair this week to say BigV watch your roster next week for injured reserves and byes. I need to get ahead of certain teams in overall points, and your participation next week could help me in this matter. Thanks buddy (does that clicky noise winky thing.) Good game this week though you didn't practice much.

I like the random element of the thing. Even if you take the time to set things up, the real life coach may want to get a different player going and just like that you're out in the cold.
