It's a B17 -the "Movie Memphis Belle" -i.e. not the original Memphis Belle, but the one they used in the movie. There are about a dozen in the world that are still flyable, and eight of them were in the air at once at the airshow. They were some of the planes made at the Willow Run Factories where "Rosie the Riveter" came from. Willow Run Airport is where Thurnder over Michigan is held
