Urban park in Houston

I just found this place today. Apparently there is a lot of wildlife within the Houston environs:

Action 13 News is nearby covering some disaster:

Surprisingly, there is a lot of wildlife around. At one point I was being followed by a 20-foot woman:

The locals were very protective. "Back off, this is my trash can!":

Don't the damn turtles eat the small ducks and maybe the big ones too?

I think we only get box turtles in most of Texas, not snapping turtles. At any rate, I've never seen a turtle attack or eat anything but bread pieces kids throw in the water.

How do they keep the coonasses from stealing & eating the turtles? Opps and the ducks and anything else around there.

by putting asphalt around the park. it burns their bare feet.
