I can't believe no one has posted a thread about it in Current Events so I will give it a go....

Here is my take:

I don't care what the rest of stuffy Americans think. It was beautiful. I wish them the best in their future. What a great opportunity for us all to temporarily put aside the continual string of bad news from three conflicts where are troops are in peril and enjoy life.
