I was listening to the oldest version of Shake, Rattle and Roll by Big Joe Turner, when he sang these lyrics.

Now maybe I just have a dirty mind, but it seems to me that there is a very lewd interpretation of those lines.

Back in the day when there were censors, it was almost a game what artists would try to sneak past them. The Blues was very earthy music, and when it started moving to the mainstream I'm sure some changes were made. Still, a lot of songs had more than one meaning.
