I love little baby ducks, old pick-up trucks
Slow movin' trains and rain
I love little country streams, sleep without dreams
Sunday school in May and hay
And I love you too

Maybe for your birthday I'll buy you a Lamp dance.

(shouldn't cost too much)

my two boys.
My dog.
My older sister.

that's my entire circle of love and support. My boys are busy in the way boys in their 20's are, my dog communicates via disapproving looks/behavior so my sister is in some deep, deep territory when it comes to my psyche.

They say don't go on Friendsville mountain
If you're looking for a wife
'cause old man Griff has a pretty young daughter
He's mighty handy with a big saber knife.

Her tender lips are sweeter than honey
And Friendsville mountain protects her there
The goats and the dogs tell old man Griff
If a stranger should wander there.

Mom, Gary, Turbo, Pico, the internet (and the time I have in the morning to peruse it with a cup of coffee), my Nook, good shows like Justified, Parenthood, The Good Wife, The Daily show and Real Time with Bill Maher just to name a few, and the freedom to be me.
