I was wasting some time recently and went into a great museum we have in Edinburgh called the Museum of Childhood and if you ever come to Edinburgh it's worth a visit here's some pictures of old toys and some not so PC toys of the past Theres a ghostly image of me in the reflection off the glass in the first one |

Thanks so much be-bop! I love to see Edinburgh and I am a freak for old toys and the like. They have a nice collection at the Children's Museum in Indianapolis. Those things fascinate me.

I would live in Edinburgh just so I could hike Arthur's Seat every day.

brilliant shots bop, especially the comparison shots of 1900 and 2005 Oh and that money box in the museum, where you put the coin in the guy's hand and then it puts it into its mouth and eats it; my nan had one of those. I used to love it. I begged to play with it whenever I went round:P |

Fantastic pictures be-bop, espeically the street shot comparisons... I would love to see more of that type from pretty much anywhere. I have an old pic of the from of my house but I don't know when it's from. I think the cedar addition to the house is from the 1860's but can't tell if it's there yet in the pic.
