I figured we should start the process on that date, since a lot of people are away right now - traffic is about half what it normally is.

I heard this funny story about this country that kept pushing back elections, for what seemed like good reasons at the time, until they eventually came to be known as the Axis Of Evil (AOE)! Oh, sweet, sweet Undertoad. You're ice-skating on a waterslide coated in KY, and at the bottom is a snappy pseudo-military jumpsuit with your name on it. When we see nothing in the streets but giant posters of your face, I shall weep for the man you are today, the man who died today. Forgive him, mighty lord of pasta, and lay your noodley appendage upon his heart, so that he may be born again in your sauce. Ramen.

No, that would be an erection for immoderators.

Seriously how does this work? Do people get nominated or just toss their hat in the ring? Are the candidates chosen by the powers that be? Just curious.

We'll have a nomination phase and an election phase. Anyone may be nominated as long as they accept the nomination.

Sigh. I've got to stop reading late at night with dry eyeballs!!!!

Oh, wait! I meant to add Flint for starting this thread. I thoroughly enjoyed the waltz down memory lane (it is scary that some people on this board do not remember life before PCs) and learning the history of The Cellar. Live Long and Prosper!!!!! (How do I donate?)
