				Rabid Skunk

Under my next-door-neighbor's deck. Obviously we hope it isn't rabid, but all signs say yes..... Who cares? no-one. She can't even get a paid service like Orkin to come and deal with it. The city/county/state is all "ooh ooh report any supected rabies incidents, we need to deal with it... but when you call animal control, they refer you to the humane society, who refer you to animal control....... yeah, you got it. My cat wants to deal with it. My neighbor scared her off. The stink has pervaded both of our houses. Grr. Not the first time either. My friend had one that died on her doorstep. Every single agency was agreed that it would be dealt with and equally convinced that would be done by another agency.
