Spode, your wonderful humanity comes out in how you treasured your relationship with TC. But it was TC's age which put your mind in obit territory, and probably TC's age which didn't put a quick claw across that chow's nose.

Find your meaning in the unconditional love and relationship that you had, not in the coincidence of how it ended. You may find meaning in that coincidence, but it was the real time you had together before the ending that made it meaningful.
