What I can't stand is raisins IN other food ... like cinnamon buns, cookies, breads, and so forth. They're just yucky that way.

If I didn't have my cinnamon raisin bread I'd be a sad panda. I'd call your aversion strange if I didn't have one even more out there: I can only eat vegetables that are served in an Indian dish, or prepared as they are in India/Indian Restaurants. That means I'll eat curried just about anything but a leaf of lettuce is a no go.

I had sort of a chocolate strawberry adversion too until I had some that were really good. First, the chocolate layer has to be thin, hard and cold. The berries have to be firm and slightly sweet. There is nothing worse than a mushy berry in a shell of chocolate. Finally, dark chocolate is much better than milk for dipping and even white chocolate is pretty good too - provides a good contrast.

I'll have to find some good ones. Over christmas break I'll be near some of the meccas of chocolate so maybe that'll be the ticket to awesome chocolate dipped strawberries.
