I did it. It was fun. Haven't done it since I was a kid. Closest would be the "Electric Slide" at a company Christmas Party.

My sister was really into contra dancing as an adult a few years ago, which is basically the same thing. There are lots of active contra dancing communities out there. I bet you could go dancing this weekend if you wanted to.
