No you don't. Jones supporting an investigation... so what? So did a lot of other people. That's neither news nor a controversy.

I agree with Bruce. Asking for an investigation does not necessarily suggest that he believes it. Also, this would not directly affect his job in the way that, say his being a Creationist would.

Considering that we have sitting Congressman calling for "birther" investigations, with not a peep from the moderate or 'sane' conservatives, I'll chalk this one up to partisanship.

BTW, most of the 'mainstream' media also gives a free pass to nutjob conservatives (and liberals) in government. There's simply too many out there for it to be news.
