Astronomical clock? Then not a giant clock, but a clock of giants. you know, scientists, astronomers, giants.
Anyway, nicely done. A thumbnail sketch of their history, your personal admiration, best wishes for the future, covered everything in a personal manner without sloppy gushing being maudlin. Very well done.
