Y'all know I'm interested in the way we as a society and as individuals understand, construct and perform gender ( to whatever degree gender norms are acquired rather than innate). So I wanted a thread for random shit about gender. Stuff that doesn't necessarily fit in the gender equality thread .. since that thread kind of defaults to the inequalities around gender, and as such tends to lean more towards discussions of the female gender experience in opposition to the male gender experience.
