yeah, maybe add two elastic bands anchoring it to the bottom of the soap reservoir. But that might mess with the aesthetics, as it would also pick up a soap film.
Maybe four bands, going to the bottom corners of the reservoir, and they'd raise a nifty soap film pyramid under the loop.
