Anyone can fix something with little education. That is not what companies need - keep asking for. Many small businessmen says the same thing. One needs no education to get these jobs. They will even train one. The biggest problem cited constantly by peers who own companies - employees don't always show up.

What is the #1 requirement today for a job? That the employee will arrive, as expected, every day.

In so many previous generations, I never heard this stated so often.

...and not be off their face on something. This is what we face at the grocery store. They don't show up, and if they do, there's a fair chance they're not actually fit to work. Many of them are trained in trades where they could be earning a whole lot more but.......
