Ah I see now, the inside of the tire is the contact surface so it's dirty and only the outside of the tread which is still black and showing up. Evidently if the whole tread was in contact the car wouldn't slide properly. Damn clever that dude.

Nasty bitch, that'll leave a mark. I've a feeling this is from a movie or something it's just too perfect, and I don't think real bottles break like that.
Even so, it still makes me cringe thinking what if.
