throwing poisonous pills in the river to "catch" the fish doesn't seem very sporting, does it?

yes, it does. peopel remove fishs' viscera as fast as they can, so they not fear the poison release into the fish. it is still good for consumption.
This action always means fatal destruction for fish. fortunately, it has been forbided by the local government

That's a good idea in that the poison kills much more than the fish you want.

If the people know what the fishes died from, they will be told if they are good for consumption or not....i hope! Otherwise they will see it as a great oppurtunity to get those fishsticks!
