Dagney I am really sorry to hear that.
I am also proud of you and your mother that you have the courage ane the compassion to set your puppy free rather than keep her here when she is hurting so badly. I always offer this to my canine friends on their passing, " May you see with eyes of light in the ever-dark. May your hunt be swift and wild. May you run with the pack eternal, nose always to the wind." My deep sympathies. Mike |

My condolences, Dagney.
Really got me thinking about my dog, she's getting up there in the years too. Today when she came to greet me at the door when I came home from work she slipped on the wet kitchen floor, all four feet sprawled out and couldn't get up by herself. She's about the same age as Heidi and I'm not looking forward to what you're going through right now. My heart goes out to you.
