Elf - Does your camera connect via usb? If so, try this.

Some digital cameras are recognized by the OS in 2000 and XP as USB external hard drives.

Don't bother to install the software.
Connect the camera to your husband's pc.
Turn the camera on.
Open up a Windows Explorer window (Windows key + E or double click on My Computer).
Look at the list of hard drives. Does it show an additional hard drive?
If so just copy the files from the new hard drive (actually your camera) to the hard drive of your husband's pc.
Open them in your favorite picture viewing software - irfanview is free and well thought of.
Resize it to a convenient viewing size. (Check that it is < 100k) If it is jpg and a reasonable size it should be.
Upload it to cellar (Look below the submit reply button. You should see a Manage Attachments button.)
