Hello all you mechanical types,

This is my chance to talk about UGNX and how over rated it is.

This current contract uses NX and after hearing loads of BS about how much more complicated it is, this is my official comment on that thought.

"Moving about half of the menu options to some other previously unrelated function and renaming commands to something less descriptive than the previous revision.....does NOT make the program better in itself, it makes it more frustrating to use!"

On the upside, in all fairness, the blending capability of parametric models has improved to the point that I often cheer outloud.

It's still the same ol' engineering and design tool you always loved or hated, it's just that now because experienced users cant adjust to the learning curve of the new menu names, locations, and sequence of specific object selections that the rates have increased overall.

Everyone cross your fingers for a piece of the joint strike fighter action. It should be good paying and long term.
