What search did you do to end up on that story?? But thanks for reminding me; I must write to my MP to get that dangerous looking pen on my desk removed. You could have someone's eye out with that.

You gotta be kidding me TS. Tons of stuff is closed down all the time in the US because inspectors decide that they are unsafe. Ever hear of product recalls even when there have been no accidents? Buildings being shut down for code violations? Constructions sites being shut down because someone got caught not wearing a required safety equipment? The list goes on and on. Just yesterday they shut down commuter trains around here because of potential mechanical problems. Tens of thousands of people have to find another ride to work.
