I'm actually in the process of switching from Comcast to SBC/Yahoo for their $14.95/mo promo. I could ask SBC if I can stream video files or not. I run a laptop at home; I can't say I'm too interested in having it always be on for server duties.
I contacted BlueWho.com and asked if they could stream .wmv files. They replied they cannot, that I would need a dedicated server for that. It's starting to sound like doing it the way I want to won't be cost-effective. |
