Ulcerative colitis got my colon in 1990, so I've been through it and a bag of chips, too.
I just browsed your blog, too, and I just want to say that everything in there is *really* familiar, right down to the vampires mining me for veins and ending up with the PICC line (I referred to mine as "Satanic jewelry"). Give me a PM when you get back, we'll chat.
