Dynamite does sometimes "go bad", but most commonly dynamite "goes boom"! Good dynamite can "go boom" and bad dynamite can "go boom". Sometimes "good dynamite" "goes boom" unexpectedly. This is the major reason for saying "Bad dynamite!"
