No, that was a guy from here in PA. Back in the first season he arranged with a couple friends to bring in that valuable sword, claiming it hung in the garage and they used it to slice watermelons.
Nobody got cheated out of any money or anything, he just took it on himself to plant this ringer to try and bolster ratings. They weren't sure the show would succeed, but I guess they didn't have to worry.
