I missed this thread the first time around. Was there a poll thread to vote on the nominations? Who won? Don't you folks have a mod-only forum?

At another site, we had problems with cross posting to "the red board". Most of the mods were also mods elsewhere and compared IP addys across these sites to ID trouble makers. It nice that The Cellar doesn't have that level of problems.

Here the main thing is to delete drive-by threads advertising other web sites.

The moderator voting thread is sticky at the top of Cellar Meta.

There is now a moderator-only forum for questions like this and, I expect, not much else.
