Anyone been to Dubai?

I think you would be making a TERRIBLE mistake to send a woman there to work. And if your girlfriend is not lilly-white, it will go even worse for her. It is nothing more than slavery with a paycheck, most of which is eaten up by the agency who places you and the people they give kickbacks to. Please read the Vanity Fair article about Dubai which appeared earlier this year. It will be a real eye-opener. I have two friends from my fan club who live in Dubai and they love it, but they should: they are the college student sons of wealthy Arab men.
