"2,811 total deaths, 21,266 combat wounded (9,603 evacuated), plus an unknown number of non-combat injuries."

Almost 10,000 wounded have gone home. That's the size of Carbondale, PA.

That story brought tears to my eyes. Since he's such a great shot, I wish Cheney could be assigned with the rank of private to go over there and fight for a year or more. I wish he could take his best pal, Jr., along with him, also with the rank of private.
