I know I'm replying to a very old thread here, but I'd like to know from anybody who has seen him play at least a handful of time: Is he actually any good? There was a lot of buzz over here when he first signed for D.C. United; people saying he would be the best player in the world one day etc., and then the inevitable backlash of people saying he was no good, he'd never make it, he's too short etc. I've never seen him play, and considering that he's just had a trial with my team, Manchester United, I'd like some honest opinions from people who've actually seen him.

I haven't seen him since he first started playing. At that point he wasn't physical enough to have much success.

from what i've seen i don't think he would last long in the premiership. he would do well in the midst of a technical team but would get the snot beat right out of him when he came up against some of the bruisers. i think he could have a fantastic career if he chooses to quit buying his own hype and just plays his role. just my opinion though.
