No typewriting, but in our half-hour-weekly computer class in elementary school, they made a few halfhearted attempts to do a few typing lessons, but we mostly played Wizard of Oz or Agent USA.
My mom does have a very nice cast iron typewriter that was a horror to use whenever I had to fill out a form, but I never had any lessons on it.
