I'm not a catering or construction industry expert, but unless you believe that Halliburton would have been the only one to make a bid, the question is irrelevant. And hey, if they had been the only one, they would have won anyway.

I had an earlier post with links. But you can google spoiled food, poisoned water supply, and trucks abandoned for flat tires and other minor mechanical issues for a start.

As to your last question, you must not have read my previous posts, Halliburton/KBR has been around a really long time providing this type of logistical support.

I'm not especially old, but Bush 1 isn't a really long time ago.
