When you are reading, do you just read the words off the page like a machine, or do you mentally follow the topic as you are reading? Again, the only thing I do that can compare is reading to my kids, and half the time I read to them, I'm just reading the words off the page and not really paying attention to the same old stories I've read a hundred times before.
