Unreasonable Expectations?

Sounds like you're so invaluable that the place ceases to function when you're not there. Ask for a raise.

Either that, or your boss is so incompetant he can't keep his crap together for a couple of days without you.


This sort of management behaviour really shits me. I mean, what if you were REALLY sick, like (God forbid) comatose; would the place just stop? It shows where family sits in his priorities.

Having said that, it is a standard male response of "I see a problem, I can fix it, full speed ahead and damn the torpedoes!" But it's bloody inconsiderate nontheless.
