But I do have a vague recollection of one Cellar Dwellar who may have professed a certain fondness for scrapple at some point in the ancient past.

I love scrapple. You've got to cook it until it's crunchy on the outside though. I don't like soggy scrapple.

I heart all the hot peppers but to my taste buds the bells cover up all the other more enjoyable flavors.

Man, you guys hate a lot of things I like.

Avocados are essentials for guacamole lovers like me -- I recommend the Trader Joe's Guacamole Kit with all the fresh ingredients right there including the jalapeno in one box. [Haas avocados, shallots, garlic, jalapeno, a tomato, a lime, salt it to taste: scoop the very ripe avocado out of the skin, mince everything else but the lime -- squeeze that -- and stir them in as you moosh up the avocado.] Avocado dip, on the other hand, is insipid stuff next to the original guac. Sliced avocado also makes Caldo Tlalpen~o from just another Mexican chicken soup (peppered up) into a memorable meal. Tlalpeno's good for anyone with a cold; think Mexican Jewish Penicillin.

Having defended avocado's honor, I'll offer my entries for the Hall of Bleuch: canned diced beets and overcooked beef liver. Raw beef liver always looked more appetizing...

Strong curry in quantity for dinner makes for better smelling sex that night. Try it sometime.

I hate anything with an aniseed flavour. Sounds like something you could easily avoid, but you'd be amazed how often good restaurants cook fish with fennel or add Pernod to pork. Grim.

I also hate cucumber - which means I often check check and recheck salad or salad sandwich ingredients. My Mum is still amazed if I order a salad - she thinks I am still 10 and refusing to eat salad because it consists of raw tomato, limp lettuce and a big pile of cucumber. And Heinz Salad Cream - which has a great advert at the moment, but is still revolting.

Have you had them? I haven't but I have had cooked octapus, and they were a little chewy. I imagine that raw ones might be more tender.

Me: I'm hungry
Her: Here's a carrot
Me: Oh, god no.
Her: Whyyyy?
Me: Orange
Her: ungh?
Me: Crunchy, evokes memories of a cross-dressing rabbit. And orange. No orange food unless it's curry, candy, or citrus.
Her: ... *crrrruuuuuunch!*

Nothing with that powdered cheese crap on it, like cheetoes or doritos.
