Surely there must be systems in place for the children of illegal immigrants who are deported. I can't believe American citizens would just leave a child in the street to fend for itself.

I'm sure there are instances of older kids in their teens remaining here on their own, just as there are teens whose parents are citizens who live on their own. But I think most of the kids who stay here are either left with relatives, or put into foster care.

There are definitely not hordes of deported immigrants' children roaming the streets here.
