My cousin is a base player. He's into jazz and blues. Doesn't gig much these days though. He's more into making money building bridges and shit. He's not scarey. Just a bit full of himself.

Go out with one? Sure. Just don't let them near your file servers. |

A LOUD bass player? I thought they were the quiet crazy ones. Or are those the drummers? (It's been a few years ) |

It depends. Sometimes the bassist is the cool guys sitting in the corner laying down the beat or it is the funky cool guy playing the amazing jazz solo or the crazy cool guy flipping out (me) throwing the bass everywhere and kicking people (the drummer) in the face.

I dated 2 bass players, one chick, one dude. They were both great with their hands, but deceitful whores too. But I don't think even *I* would able to resist a 6'3, blonde, LOUD and a little crazy bass player.

I keep biting my fingers to keep from responding. I lived with a bass player, an extremely talented and versatile and advanced music degree holding bass player. Yeah, he played electric bass for money, but any other bass instrument, ah hell, any other instrument for love. Orchestral bass would be his preference, strings or brass. Bass players in general are funloving and the life of the group whether a small combo or a concert band. Go for it, but bring your wallet. |
