Hey BigV ya have a darning egg? If not use a light bulb. We use to sell glass eggs in store years ago. For darining and to put under a setting hen. Yeah I know and I feel it each day.

I *also* save money by having compact fluorescent bulbs everywhere in our house.

just kidding! That's a great idea, I didn't know about that. I always just stab myself with the needle, then back up a notch. Your idea is much much better.
