I promise I will keep posting my monthly pictures.
Although I have a long way to fulfil LJ's prediction that when I'm "hot" I won't, I will probably start wearing knickers soon, just because my self esteem is coming back with each month that passes.

The first post was totally self-flagellation. A desperate "you think I'm moaning about being fat, look! THIS is what I did to myself!!" And then people posted and were so kind, I wanted to show that this time it wasn't just pointless whining - I was working from rock bottom. Ah - can you say that if your aim is lower?

Anyway. Thanks to those who posted. And in a way thanks to those who looked and didn't - I would have been devastated to get a negative post back then and steeled myself every time I came into this thread. Now I have a much more robust attitude born of the only things that count - effort and results.
