Happy Boxing Day to all. (a day late, what can I say I was busy :P)

Had a delightful time at my friend Alice's house. She had a bunch of comrades and family round, a big, big spread of food and a lot of kiddies running about the place. Her grandkids are so adorable. One of them, a little boy of three, I could just put on a butty and eat, he's so beautiful. Poor little lamb has very bad eczema though. You can't tell unless you look at his little pudgy hands with the tell-tale wrinkles on his knuckles.

Then went back to D's, had an early night and was out this morning at 4:30 to get to the Next sale (doors opened 5am). First time I've ever done the mad sales. Only went for a coat. Ended up getting a coat and a hat and queued for an hour to pay for it *chuckles* everyone else was laden down with mountains of stuff, the checkout girl laughed when we said it was just the two items :P I spent what I was going to spend in January...but instead of a £30 coat, I got a £60coat for £30
