What the hell do these guys even do? Wave their arms around while other people play the music?
Now I realize that's pretty much what I do, but that's different. I'm making a sound, that the audience can hear, while I make stupid faces. But seriously, what are these guys there for? To control the tempo? What, do they do it different every time? Tempo can be written in sheet music. It's not like shitty musicians with bad time are going to play better just because some guy is jumping around pretending to be bugs bunny. I mean, I'm sure these are top-notch players, just have them chart out how the damn song goes, and get that jackass off the stage.
