Apparently there's a new pool at the local college that uses some other chemical system, but it's been closed more than open due to chemical imbalances

And stinks.

our home pool is salt water and i love it. not once in more 5 years has it been out of whack.

The gyms down here seem to be switching over too. It really is awesome, doesn't dry your skin out, burn the eyes, or leave you smelling like chlorine.
