If you could choose just one sporting event

It's impossible for me to choose on your behalf, as sport varies so much between our two countries. For me it would definitely be the World Cup final. You don't know who will be playing of course, but the atmosphere would be electric.

Or Ascot Ladies' Day. Heels and a hat and just pray it's not windy!

My ultimate holiday destination would have to be the Tour de France - planning my itinerary to cross paths two or three times over the course of a week. Preferably one of the stages that crosses into Italy, as I've never been to that part of France.
