Saturn from Titan

Leeched from Astronomy Picture of the Day website, always a source for pictures from the mildly interesting to the absolutely stunning.

This depicts the Huygens probe, which will be released by the Cassini spacecraft as it passes Titan in 2004. Perhaps this is what Saturn will look like from Titan. As you can tell from the haze on the horizon, Titan has an atmosphere.

Larger version available here.

(BTW, how do I get to include a visible pic in my post?)

Is this the probe that they hope will tunnel beneath the ice and go swimming?

no that one hasn't even been designed or launched yet... they're thinking of doing up an ice penetrating probe for a possible europa mission... this one here will simply deposit a probe into titan's upper atmosphere and it'll drift down and collect data.
