Wait, private industry are the people who've gotten us into this mess. How the heck are they going to fix it?
BTW, I'm not advocating a government-only solution. The best stuff generally comes out: basic science by the feds, applications by private companies (LOTS of them - no market dominance). I'm a big fan of the vertical wind turbine.
